Karen Kwan, who joined PIA in 1997, is Assistant Vice President and Operations Specialist. Karen’s responsibilities include overseeing new accounts, initiating account transfers, and executing trades for advisors and their clients. She loves working with PIA’s advisors and staff and enjoys the challenge and diversity of her work. Karen studied horticulture at San Francisco City College and holds the following FINRA license: General Securities Representative (7). Karen was the recipient of the Molly Peterson Award in 2002 for five years of dedicated service and also in 2007 for ten years of dedicated service. Karen was born in Canton, China and raised in San Francisco. She is interested in fashion design and is a floral designer for weddings and special occasions. She and her husband, Ben, live in San Francisco.
