Sonya Dreizler Schinske serves as Chief Operating Officer. She joined PIA in 2004 and has previously served as Vice President of Advisor Services. She coordinates advisor recruiting and employee hiring, plans PIA’s meetings and conferences, oversees PIA’s web development, supervises Home Office administration, trains advisors on computer software, and edits PIA’s quarterly newsletter. She enjoys planning meaningful conferences for PIA and helping advisors with their diverse businesses. Sonya is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the following licenses: General Securities Representative (7), Uniform Combined State Law Examination (66), General Securities Principal (24), and Financial and Operations Principal (28). She is also an Albridge Certified Professional and a Notary Public. Sonya earned a BA from UCLA in English Literature and speaks fluent Spanish and some Portuguese.
Born and raised in Sacramento, Sonya enjoys cooking and traveling and lives in San Francisco with her husband, Jeff and their two cats.
