Jack Bloom is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional who has been providing comprehensive financial planning services throughout the Bay Area for over twenty years. He specializes in retirement planning, college funding, insurance needs and analysis, as well as socially responsible investments.
Jack also has provided employee benefit services to small and medium size businesses for many years. He has expertise in the area of both employer sponsored and individually owned health insurance.
Jack has over fifteen years of prior experience in the public sector, which include such positions as: Vista Volunteer in Southern California, an analyst with The Office of Economic Opportunity in Washington, DC, and management positions with several public transportation systems throughout the US, including a two year term as General Manager of Marin County Transit District.
Jack has a BA in Economics and a MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin. He has his California Insurance License and the following licenses: General Securities Representative (7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (63).
Jack lives in Oakland and enjoys traveling, basketball, and golf.
